Cambridge, UK - Camrivox Ltd, a Unified Communications innovator and developer of Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) software announces the public beta availability of Skype integration for its Flexor™ CTI family of products. Flexor CTI now unifies Asterisk based telephony and Skype with Microsoft Outlook and leading CRM applications providing users with the choice to make and receive calls in the way that suits them best.
Skype has revolutionized the way people communicate, bringing free voice and video calls and instant messaging to consumers and businesses across the world. Although calls can be made and received on a variety of devices, Skype is arguably associated primarily with PC-based softphones. However, whilst Skype-certified softphones enable access to contacts within applications such as Microsoft Outlook to offer click-to-dial and call handling, Flexor CTI adds a new dimension to take customer interaction and call management to new levels for Skype users.
Features such as caller pop-ups ensure that anybody in the organization taking a customer’s call can see the account history instantly, whilst call logging and journaling enable real-time management reporting and analysis to maximize call performance and efficiency.
Individual user accounts in either Outlook or CRM applications can be set to make a call using either telephony via the PBX, SkypeOut or Skype-to-Skype free calling. That way the preferred calling route is used whenever a call is made with Flexor CTI click-to-dial, thereby generating savings on international or expensive carrier calls.
The new Skype features in Flexor CTI also help CRM users when they are away from the office, giving them the option to use CTI and cheap calling at a hotel or airport wireless hotspot.
For businesses intent on maximizing ROI, Flexor CTI offers an easily set up and administered solution for integrating communications to optimise business processes. Uniquely web-delivered direct to a user’s desktop, Flexor CTI bypasses the need for costly servers and IT support, instead speeding implementation and minimizing financial risk.
“We are really excited by this Skype public beta as it answers the most popular request from our customers. They want CTI for their CRM applications but also want to use Skype to control costs and produce a flexible telephony solution,” said Malcolm Wood, CEO for Camrivox. “And they love the fact that no servers are needed to provide this flexibility.”
Flexor CTI is available for a growing range of on-demand CRM applications including Dynamics CRM, Salesforce and NetSuite, and is also available as a free download for Outlook. All users can then add Skype support as a beta license to their installed software.
