Polycom Configuration

Flexor settings for Polycom are not saved or are over written

Flexor makes changes to the Application settings of the Polycom phone during initial configuration, after which the Polycom phone will reboot to load the changes. It has been reported that some hosted VOIP providers set their phone's to download a configuration file after a reboot and this file overwrites the changes Flexor makes, thus preventing Flexor from working with the phone.

The settings that Flexor configures on Polycom phones are as follows:

Please check with your phones provider that these are not set (or cleared) by any other configuration mechanism.

These settings can be viewed via the phone's web interface under General > Applications. Once set by Flexor they should include your PC's IP address.
