Salesforce Settings and Preference

When Salesforce loads, the CTI panel in the top-left of the main window has two buttons:

Not Ready for Calls - Do not Disturb

In the window below you can see the menu for setting your status. Normally you would have it set to Ready for Calls and this is the default. But if you are busy and do not wish to be disturbed you can set it to Not Ready for Calls. In this mode, and incoming call to any of your phones will be immediately rejected, usually resulting in it being diverted to voicemail.

Click on the Preferences option in the main window will open the preferences window shown below:

Normally the settings do not need changing from the default. However, in a situation where you have multiple phones, or multiple lines on the same phone, you can choose which phone/line should be used for click-to-dial. This setting can be saved and will be persistent over reboots.
